WMCS has launced two new GPRS Modems, with a wide range of functions, which are
expected to revolutionalize the current Telematics market.
Developed and manufactured by WMCS, M110G, GSM-GPRS-GPS and M110 GSM-GPRS bring
GPRS packet switching technology with Internet Protocol within GSM to provide
tremendous benefits to GSM network operators. Both M110 and M110G are available
enclosed in a
Black Box measuring 132mm x 65mm x 26mm (L x W x H) are available immediately
for worldwide distribution.
Customised board lay-out is negotiatable
The tiny M110 & M110G module which sits comfortably inside a packet of
cigarettes allows the introduction of value added services for market
differentiation and enables connection to a wide range of public and private
data networks using industry standard data and Internet Protocols.
The applications cover Fleet Management and Security functions to Logistical and
Management functions of Gaming and Vending machines, Security functions of
homes, offices and factories. Connectability to a whole array of peripheral
devices turns M110 & M110G into a vital component of daily functions.
By upgrading the networks to GPRS, existing GSM operators will have third
generation capability which will reduce the eventual investment needed to
transition to 3G.
The M100 & M110 comes with a embedded software and configuration Console to
set GPRS, GPS, Alarm, SMS, and Sensor settings demanded by numerous possible
applications.
All settings can be adapted over the GPRS network from the Remote Server or
by SMS.
Also, here, customised embedded software is negotiateble.
The applications for M110 & M110G include-;
*Telemetry Market
*Automotive GSM Module
*Hand Held Terminals
